GROWING IN A TIME OF CRISIS
In the past years there has been a considerable slowing-down in world markets in all sectors. In the same period, Beta 80 Group has increased its speed of growth, gaining new customers and maintaining unchanged the value of its orders. A taste for hard work, its solid administration and a judicious use of resources created relationships with clients and professional partners that were based on esteem and confidence. This aim, as well as others, has been reached by following a path with a specific criterion: throughout the whole of Beta 80 Group's history, the wealth produced has been entirely reinvested in the company; this has led to the development of precise business lines and the planning of well-targeted acquisitions of external companies on the one hand, while on the other, it has enabled the company to form its own, special business culture, centred above all on the value of the individual and his or her activity.

Developments and acquisitions have been achieved with technological and business precision, and without altering the ownership structure: the volume of business has increased without any reduction in the structural balance. The whole block of shares is held by partners who are all operational within the Group, and the stability of the companies has enabled the spread of a precise business culture and the establishment of a characteristic development model.
STEERING A COURSE
Beta 80 Group has grown by following well-defined criteria: a gradual and constant evolution, with a linear business model, acknowledging the value of each individual person and investing in human capital. The capacity for loyalty - now a well-recognized foundation for market economics - is the prime criterion in Beta 80 Group for relationships between people, both inside and outside the company. This has generated a network of stable relations, especially between individuals and businesses who operate in the same field and collaborate with the same institutions. Creating this long value supply-chain has favoured the growth of "social capital" as a result of the investments made in human capital. Beta 80 Group is a leading player in its ability for integration. In its myriad meanings (technological, cultural and social), integration has brought results that are able to outline a model, as in the case of the recent experimentation of the 112 Single European Emergency Number.
Beta 80 Group's corporate history can be divided into precise stages.
1986: with the aim of realizing a common professional project, Alfredo Lovati and Paolo Testi were among the new graduates from Milan Polytechnic who founded Beta 80 Srl. The company initially operated in the application development and integrated logistics sectors.
1992 - 1994: the first big projects. The 118 Operations Centres in Como and Sondrio were created in 1992, based on emma - emergency management - proprietary technology. In 1994, the proprietary software for automatic warehouses, later named Stockager®, was released onto the market.
1995: Beta 80 changed into a joint-stock company.
2000: alongside Beta 80 SpA, Betanet Srl was founded, with a mandate to develop the supply in the ICT consulting sector.
2002: Beta 80 Group Srl holding company was set up. Constant growth results led to a structured layout being designed and control activities being concentrated.
2005: Betaware Srl was founded, with the aim of giving greater visibility to ICT Management products, in particular for Selective Outsourcing and Monitoring systems with 24h manning.
2008: a company branch was acquired from Agusta Westland SpA. The transaction consolidated the leading position in Italy for the emma - emergency management - platform, in developing the 118 Accident and Emergency Operations Centres.
2012: Beta 8.0 Technology was founded in Benevento, with a twofold aim of developing emergency management offering for Health System and Civil Protection, and becoming a reference point for document management issues and archival science.

THE VALUE OF TECHNOLOGY: SOLUTIONS
The supply portfolio is representative of a company's level of technological ability. In the Beta 80 culture, solutions are created by referring to the aim of value: to support the business, give back-up to the organization, facilitate processes, and update operativeness. The process of configuring products, platforms and added-value services follows an analysis of the clients' needs, accompanied by the structuring of teams and developing skills still further.

TECHNOLOGY OF VALUE: CUSTOMERS
Beta 80 Group is available for all those who are looking for a company with which to develop their business, and increase their economic and organizational value. Building a relationship of value with customers - and with all professional interlocutors - is the aim to which work is directed on a daily basis. It's a way to invest in human capital, with interest that comes back to benefit not just the business, but the whole community, and it turns into company capital. This approach is part of both Beta 80 Group's company culture and its good practice in design.
A constant dialogue with clients: this is the only way to achieve full understanding of requirements, and enable us to find the best way to meet them.
A love of being concrete: in the best solutions and in the most coherent scenarios there is no room for technologies introduced just for their own sake. The effectiveness of the technology is measured with a ruler that changes time by time.
A sense of achieving results: stable business relationships are founded on fixed objectives, flexible projects and adaptable strategies.
CODE OF ETHICS
In relations between professionals and companies, a code of ethics for behaviour is both required and expected, in order to safeguard all the interlocutors who intervene in the various working situations.
